Unless you have been living under a rock, chances are you’ve noticed the abundance of floral patterns this fall. And if you read this post, you know how these days I’m loving sweet, feminine details. So you can probably guess that I’m into floral dresses for fall.
At first I wasn’t sure if I could get on board with all things floral, but after scoping out the copious amounts of pattern play out there, I felt totally inspired to give it a try. Who says flowered frocks have to be reserved for springtime? I especially love this dress, with the sweet sleeves and flouncy skirt. The low-cut neckline adds a touch of saucy to what could otherwise very easily be a matronly-looking frock.
Also, how amazing are these boots. Confession: they are my mom’s. Pretty much anything nice I ever wear is either a gift or borrowed from her.
My current recipe on repeat: floral dress, edgy boots, and a versatile green parka. Are you into the fall floral trend? I think I am. I also really love this post on incorporating the pattern into your home decor. (It doesn’t hurt that Carla is hilarious and witty and I could read her writing for hours.)
