Today I’m sharing 16 blogs about interior design you should check out. And not just for the pretty images – half of them are hilarious as well!

Hommemaker – Orlando not only has impeccable design aesthetic, but hilarity to boot. Stop whatever you are doing and head to his Instagram page to read the funniest captions that will undoubtedly leave you laughing out loud.

Style By Emily Henderson – I already professed my love of Emily here, so do yourself a favor and check her out asap.

Design Worthy – Claire Worth, of Design Worthy, may just be my #designsister. The girl is all sorts of amazing! If you follow her Instagram account you can even snag some seriously great pointers in her #DWDesignSchool series!

Color Me Carla – Carla Fahden is another witty and humorous voice with killer design skills. She also regularly posts on Emily’s site, so it’s a no-brainer if you ask me.

Centered By Design – Another Claire with whom I’m smitten! This Claire is fearless (read this post on how she navigated an entire career change at 30). I love following the behind-the-scenes of her Warwick Reno, which is a classic Chicago bungalow that she and her husband are totally renovating (and simultaneously living through it).

Summer Thornton Design – I love Summer’s bold color pairings and fearlessness in mixing patterns and prints. Serious #girlboss. Her fun blog highlights some great design stuff, both past and present.

Liz Lidgett – I love Liz’s tagline: Crusader against blank walls. Her blog is as adorable as her red hair. And you know I love anyone who is a major art advocate!

Yellow Brick Home – I have serious admiration for Kim and Scott, and not just because they hail from my hometown. These kids are serious when it comes to rehab and renovation. They are currently DIY-ing their way a 130-year-old house! Follow along with them on their blog, and get some cute snaps of their pets too.

Chris Loves Julia – Another serious DIY and renovation power couple. They also have a podcast! Check it out here.

The Makerista – I love Gwen and I love anything she touches. Her new kitchen design has me legit swooning.

Little Green Notebook – Jenny Komenda has some seriously brilliant ideas. I particularly love her PAX hack (how luxe/non-IKEA-y does that look?!).

Lauren Liess – Soothing. Serene. Organic. What do these words have in common? Oh that’s right, they pretty much sum up Lauren Liess and her design aesthetic. I’m also pretty sure you’ve seen her book in every Instagram photo ever.

The Hunted Interior – Head to this blog when you’re looking for some seriously juicy interior inspo.

House of Hipsters – Another Chicagoan! Kyla is so funny, you’ll return to her blog not just for the fantastic vintage finds but for her hilarious wit too. I particularly love her “I Make Emily Henderson Cry” segment.

Brittany Makes – Not only is she adorable as all get-out, but so is her home. I love her tuxedo kitchen cabinets – yum!

Swoonworthy – My god, is Kimberly Duran my idea of wonderful or what. New York-native turned England-dweller, she uses phrases like “my best mate” and “put the kettle on” in her writing. Makes you feel like you’re just sitting down for a proper chat (see – it’s contagious!). Her tagline is: Home of Eclectic Boho Glam. Um, yes please.
