How do you feel about making a fashion statement?
Because I for one have a boatload of mixed feelings.
I think it’s fascinating how personal style evolves, and I love nothing more than thinking back to some of my more horrible experimental phases in fashion. Like when I thought I was a really good candidate for the punk-rock look. Or when I refused to wear anything other than black. (Ok, still a little guilty of that last one). But I distinctly remember a few years ago when I denounced anything sweet or feminine as “ugly” and “lame.” I wanted harsh, clean lines and absolutely no frills whatsoever.
My, how times have changed.
Ugh, I can’t believe I’m about to talk about transitional shoes for fall. Not after Wednesday’s lament.
