Current Design Crush: Centered By Design

For today’s Current Design Crush, meet Claire, the insanely talented interior designer and blogger behind Centered By Design.

I admire her for so many reasons, least of which is the fact that she navigated an entire career change at the age of 30 (read all about it here). You may also remember her from my roundup of 16 Interior Design Blogs You Should Be Reading. Claire is not afraid to take a risk, and she excels at incorporating bold color and pattern. Her use of textures is spot-on, and she always manages to incorporate vintage elements to keep things looking seasoned rather than store-bought.

Claire also produces the fantastic “Women Who Make” series, which showcases women in a variety of creative fields and what their processes look like. AND – get this – she was recently nominated as one of HGTV’s Fresh Faces of Design in their Pattern + Texture category! Check out her project, and cast your vote for her here!
