You know those rooms that feel so natural it seems they were always meant to be that way? That’s the work of Lauren Liess, in a nutshell.
Her book, Habitat, and her overall design philosophy inspire me. Check her out if you haven’t already!
This weekend was kiiiiiiind of a downer. It poured all weekend long, and you know how I loathe the rain. Dreary weekends are the worst – they always feel like a total waste to me. Friday night I worked until bedtime, then I met some friends for a yoga event at Mahalo on Saturday, but the event was overbooked so there was no room left! I ended up coming home and doing a bit of work on the couch, then meeting Kelly and her fam for ice cream at Jeni’s.
Sunday poured too, but I made it to my favorite yoga class at Corepower. (Yoga always makes me feel good.) Then we attended by boss’ baby naming ceremony for his brand new baby daughter – she is so sweet! I love newborn babies so much. Can’t wait until June, Nicole!!!!!! 😉
Anyway, trying to start the week out on a positive note! It may be busy but I’m putting my most productive foot forward this Monday. That, coupled with at least four cups of coffee should do the trick 😉
