A side-by-side eyebrow comparison for #filterfreefriday? Yes, I believe that will do just fine.
My eyebrows are a sensitive topic for me (DISCLAIMER: Major first world problem). They are basically two shapeless blah lines that happen to run parallel across my forehead.
I remember being in sixth grade and noticing the hairy beasts for the first time. I tried tackling them with cuticle clippers (cuticle clippers?!?!) which of course yielded less-than-fantastic results.
Thank god my mom noticed too and took me to get them waxed for the first time my freshman year of high school. I tried keeping them at least somewhat groomed throughout the years, though my biggest annoyance (AGAIN, first world problem) was their lack of shape.
Finally, last year, I discovered this pencil. And it has been a game-changer folks. Now when I fill in my brows I feel confident. Some days I wear no makeup other than filling in my brows. There’s just something about having them full that frames my face in the best way.
Do I realize this comes across as shallow and self-absorbed? Yes. But it’s how I feel and since it’s filter-free-friday I’m sharing it with you. And I have to imagine I’m not the only one who feels insecure about something on her face.
