I’m a total phony.
I tell people I made this purse and they’re all like “Wow that is so cool and you are so talented!” Well folks, here’s a close-up shot of my actual talent level. I made it maybe a month ago and already it’s falling apart.
But you better believe I roll with those ego-fueling comments about how “talented” and “gifted” I am. I’m all like “Oh thanks it was just a first try” (this is of course accompanied with a humble smile and slight flush of the cheeks). I can’t help it. I’m an ego-maniac with an inferiority complex so of course I jump all over the chance to fill my ego tank. Please, tell me how good I am so I can feel better about myself for the next hour.
Can you relate? Or am I just an insane person posting strange purse pictures on the internet?

Ha not at all! I often get that feeling too! Your bag is pretty amazing tho, especially for a first try! I remember I made a shawl in my weaving class that didn’t even last a month (and I wont embarrass myself by telling you how many hours I worked on weaving it…).
