As a native Chicagoan I’m no stranger to frigid winter temps or below-freezing wind-chill. I know how to bundle up to stay warm (hint: LAYERS). Having a duffle bag coat (with a hood) is par for the course. As are earmuffs. But when it comes to my feet, the struggle is real. In my experience, warm usually equals bulky or heavy.
